The Weather Channel - Radar 10.69.1
Free Version
Do you need an umbrella today?
Given the cold that is encroaching the northern parts of our beloved Earth, having a handy dandy weather app on your phone or tablet should be a priority. Otherwise, you wouldn't know which pair of socks to put on each morning.
The Weather Channel shows the current temperature and lays out forecasts for nine days in advance.
The Now screen displays the current temperature shows beautiful pictures that evoke it. Theoretically these help you get a feel of the weather in case you find yourself in a fallout bunker (or your office has no windows).
Forecast shows compacted data for temperature and humidity but tapping on a day will expand the entire list and give details for day and night, wind speed and sunrise/sunset hours (very handy for sun gazing). You may register multiple cities and switch between them at any time.
There is a Videos section, that contains some entertaining clips and some climate change propaganda here and there. Don't worry though, you can't play them.
You may display The Weather Channel as a widget and can chose between four layouts. They have a compact look and refresh automatically.
The Weather Channel also gives notifications about temperature changes and important weather conditions, relative to a preferred location.
